Say, don’t tread on me!
Liberty or death,
what we so proudly hail.
Once you provoke her,
Rattling of her tail.
Never Begins it,
never, but once engaged.
Never surrenders,
showing the fangs of rage.
Say don’t tread on me.
So be it.
Threaten no more.
To secure peace is
to prepare for war.
So be it.
Settle the score.
Touch me again with the words that you will hear evermore.
Don’t tread on me.
Love it or leave it,
She with the deadly bite.
Quick is the blue tongue,
forked as the lightning strike.
Shining with brightness,
always on surveillance.
(The eyes, they never close)
Emblem of Vigilance.
Oooh, no,no,no
Say, don’t tread on me.
So be it.
Threaten no more.
To secure peace is
to prepare for war.
So be it.
Settle the score.
Touch me again with the words that you will hear evermore.
Don’t tread on me!
So be it.
Threaten no more.
To secure peace is
to prepare for war.
Liberty or death,
what we so proudly hail.
Once you provoke her,
rattling of her tail.
So be it.
Threaten no more.
To secure peace is
to prepare for war.
So be it.
Settle the score.
Touch me again with the words that you will hear evermore.
Don’t tread on me!

Thanks to the whiny, needy, monumentally irrational and willfully ignorant Obama zombies, we now have a massive new unaffordable entitlement which will inevitably lead to a national sales tax:

When you vote for Democrats, this is what happens…
Categories: Liberalism, Politics & Issues, The Obamessiah
Today the president signed the death certificate of his own party; the anticlimactic culmination of months of bribes, back-room deals, zero accountability, zero transparency and brutal, unrelenting agenda-driven politics against the will of the American people and against bipartisan opposition (including unanimous opposition of the Republican Party). This vile perversion of our democratic process is an unconstitutional and illegal, socialist-inspired monstrosity that will claim one sixth of the nation’s economy. The Dims own this one and it will bury them.
I watched the “debate” in the House, though it can hardly be called that. Both sides stated their point of view, but there was no real discussion or even opportunity to convince the other side. The Democrats kept returning to the same two arguments, undeniably the two most popular aspects of the bill: the elimination of preexisting conditions and preventing insurance companies from dropping coverage. These two components of the bill were great and should have been included in any health care reform legislation, however focusing on these two points created a weak argument when confronted with the chilling facts:
- An executive order is hardly a safeguard against public funds being used for abortions
- Premiums *will* go up for all those with private insurance
- This trillion dollar law will rob $550 billion from Social Security and Medicare (by the way these two reforms were passed with large bipartisan support)
- The national debt will inevitably explode, as will the taxes to fund it. The entire system will be unsustainable and eventually lead to more Chinese-owned debt and potentially a national sales tax (perfect for economic growth).
- The Federal Government cannot force American citizens to buy a private product – this is blatantly unconstitutional and won’t hold up in court
- This new law is incredibly unpopular. Why? Because it is a massive increase in the size, scope and power of government. It seeks to micromanage such an important aspect of our lives, denying us choice in the process, all because Big Brother knows best.
I was initially impressed with Bart Stupak’s firm stand against the bill’s potential for funding abortions with public money… that is until he succumbed at the last minute to an executive order that isn’t even worth the paper it’s written on. The fact that he would accept a non-binding scrap of paper from the most pro-abortion president in history shatters his pro-life facade. It became immediately apparent that his efforts were an attempt to save face with his constituents in order to shore up his dismal reelection prospects. Even with his support, the bill barely passed with only a few votes to spare.
According to Real Clear Politics (a poll aggregator), congressional approval is at 17% just two days after the bill was passed. In another survey, only 33% believe that the country is headed in the right direction. This is definitely change Hugo Chávez can believe in.
Obama was elected because he was rock-star charismatic, good looking, well spoken and full of empty promises. The 69,456,897 useful idiots who handed him power projected onto him their hopes and desires without considering the consequences of electing an ultra-liberal, Chicago politician and giving him a majority in both houses of Congress. Obama promised to fundamentally change the United States, and change is what we will receive, whether we want it or not.
While the Dims are celebrating with boasting, four letter expletives and victory laps, fourteen states are lining up to challenge the constitutionality of this law. I believe this will eventually end up in the Supreme Court where the law will be rejected. By this time, the Democrats will have already suffered a crushing defeat in 2010 and 2012. After all, as The One said: “This is what elections are for”.
Rest in pieces.

So much for “diversity”…
The progressive paragon of Portland is the whitest on the list, with an African American population less than half the national average. It is America’s ultimate White City. The contrast with other, supposedly less advanced cities is stark.
Why is it that progressivism in smaller metros is so often associated with low numbers of African Americans? Can you have a progressive city properly so-called with only a disproportionate handful of African Americans in it? In addition, why has no one called these cities on it?
interesting article…
So, the [arguably] most liberal state in the nation is sending a Republican to Washington to derail an incredibly unpopular, bloated and corrupt “health care” bill. More importantly though, this is a rejection of big government and the socialist agenda Obama is spearheading. Granted, they could still ram the bill through before Scott Brown is seated, but doing so would amount to political suicide and even greater losses in the coming elections. With luck, this bill with die quickly and our government can return to the drawing board to seek a bipartisan solution with sensible reforms. Although our healthcare system can be improved, it is still one of the best systems in the world. This fact is constantly underscored by the number of people seeking treatment in the United States.
Earlier tonight I had the desire to listen to how the liberals were going to spin this loss, so I turned on MSNBC with Keith Olbermann covering the election results. His facade of professionalism evaporated when Martha Coakley conceded the race. His broadcast quickly devolved into a frustrated, emotional, bitter and hateful litany of insults beginning with his “apology” to Brown for the following diatribe:
In short, in Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against women and against politicians with whom he disagrees. In any other time in our history, this man would have been laughed off the stage as an unqualified and a disaster in the making by the most conservative of conservatives. Instead, the commonwealth of Massachusetts is close to sending this bad joke to the Senate of the United States.
During his apology he repeated his words and then joked about forgetting to call Brown sexist. Once this was established, he repeated his insults yet again including the new addition. His broadcast subsequently featured classy words like “crap” and “teabagging” (a sexual reference). It is not surprising that only a handful of viewers (aka left-wing ideologues) take this guy and his network seriously. I could barely watch an hour of this filth before returning to Fox News. Thank you Mr. Olbermann for reinforcing my view that the media is horribly biased and corrupt, and that leftists such as yourself are emotional, dogmatic, whiney and incredibly intolerant [of politicians with whom you disagree].
This political disaster may be the best thing to happen to the Democrats, assuming they take notice of the current political climate. Anyone who follows politics in the US knows that the Dems are headed for a crushing defeat later this year and in 2012 if they don’t reverse course. Unfortunately for them, the progressives at the helm of their party will undoubtedly sacrifice their own to push their unpopular agenda forward.
I visited a liberal blog that a friend sent me to and found a disturbing post there. Granted, its nothing new – typical leftist drivel but it made me think a bit and make some important points. I’ll copy my response below.
Why did the shootings at Virginia Tech happen?
Simple. There are too many guns in this country. And they are way too easy to come by, particularly in Virginia, even for emotionally disturbed loners like the shooter at Virginia Tech.
Local progressive talk show host Thom Hartmann is eager to blame the shootings on America’s culture of violence. Canada, he says, has more guns per capita than the U.S. but far less gun violence.
I agree! Guns are dangerous and plentiful. We should ban and confiscate them all.
We should also ban knives too (including kitchen knives) because they are sharp and dangerous and are used to kill people.
We should ban alcohol again since its dangerous in that it causes people to act violently.
We should definitely ban drugs again because of the crime and violence caused by their trade (wait…)
Oh and automobiles… they kill thousands every year, in accidents (especially because of alcohol). They are also harmful to the environment – we should ban them.
We should also ban violent television shows, movies and video games because they are the reason that some people act violently.
and so on…
The “guns are evil because they kill people” argument is an emotional one, not a logical one. I find that many on the left are motivated by emotion. They demand sweeping change in a reactionary way because such change would make them “feel” better.

That’s what I thought until I read this.
The Obama administration plans to reverse a regulation from late in the Bush administration allowing health-care workers to refuse to provide services based on moral objections, an official said Friday
Pro-choice? yeah… right. What about the choice of the health-care providers whose moral code disagrees with the disgusting murderous agenda of the Hussein Regime and it’s liberals allies (including Planned Parenthood). This action has nothing to do with “choice”, especially the choice of the unborn baby who has no voice. Make no mistake here, these individuals are not “pro-choice”, they are “pro-abortion”.
My predictions are coming true… from the bailout insanity to the implementation of a radical secular progressive agenda. I’d almost enjoy watching the Obama train wreck if I could somehow ignore the fact that its happening to *my* country.

Watching the inauguration with my wife, we both couldn’t help but remember Padmé’s haunting quote at the end of Episode III. It seems like a few people on YouTube (1, 2, 3) had the same idea. LOL.
Welcome to the DSSR, also known as the Divided Socialist States of Obameristan. We have much to look forward to in the next four years:
- Scandal and corruption on a scale never before seen in our nation’s history
- The continued socialization of our economy
- A massive increase in the size, scope and power of our government
- The undermining of parental authority
- Socialist entitlements and handouts that will placate an ever-more-dependent, uneducated and uncompetitive workforce
- More aggressive liberal indoctrination in our universities and public schools
- A culture war that will result in the suppression of Christian values and holidays in favor of ultra-sensitive, meaningless, secular progressive “events”
- The eroding of our national sovereignty by corrupt bodies like the UN and rogue nations
- Industrial, social and influential decline before China and India
- The undermining of our national security
- New and tighter restrictions on our second amendment rights
- The marginalization of the Republican party and conservatism at all levels of government
- The introduction of liberal activist judges from the Supreme Court on down.
- The introduction of legislation enabling (and a culture celebrating) morally bankrupt behavior
- And last but not least, completely unfettered access to abortion: America’s holocaust continues.
The Obamessiah’s flock will chant his name with reverent fervor while he strips them of their rights and subtly influences them to become more dependent on his corrupt government. When this happens he will become more than a messiah, he will become a provider and his willfully ignorant subjects will stay pacified, hanging on every empty word conveyed by his silver tongue.
On a lighter note, my friend Rex sent me an e-mail forward containing some quotes from Thomas Jefferson. It is completely worthwhile to contrast the philosophies and wisdom of his time to that of our current “Great Leader”. Let me start with a Jefferson quote that is very relevant to our present economic crisis.
“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
“When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.”
“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
Why work when you can live off of welfare handouts, stimulus packages and government bailouts?
“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”
“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the Government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”
I think that Thomas Jefferson would not approve of how government grows when liberals are in power.
“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.”
The following quotes make it very obvious what the framers meant by the second amendment. Sadly, the SCOTUS justices almost redefined the purpose of the second amendment in the Heller case.
“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

VIDEO: Boy Zapped Trying To Swap Political Yard Signs
This is hilarious. Mystery liberal keeps swapping a homeowner’s John McCain campaign sign with a Barack Obama sign. So the homeowner uses his background in electrical engineering to trap his sign with a camera and a pet electric fence. It turns out that the mystery liberal is a 9-year-old boy. It’s a good thing he can’t vote, unless he was registered by ACORN.

Liberals have no class. Tolerance? Nope, they don’t have that either. Again.. absolutely predictable behavior. Bill Ayers would be proud.
